Registering Domain Names

To acquire a domain name, you must do so via a domain name registrar. You can easily search for the top domain registrars using keywords such as “domain registrar” and “domain name registrar”.

The cheapest way of acquiring a domain name is to register a domain name that is not yet registered or taken. Prices can be as low as $2, depending on the domain extension (Top Level Domain) such as .com, and the domain registrar.

Some domain registrars offer tools to help you find unregistered domains by providing suggestions based on keywords or your original search.

The good news is that although most of the best domains are already registered, it is possible to purchase a domain name that is already registered from its current owner.
