Restricted Country Codes

There is a lot of fuss about country extensions in blogs and forums. There are some countries that restrict registrations, such as Canada. Which is the best ccTLD to invest in now that does not have any restriction?

Hi Saafir,

Due to language and cultural barriers, it is a bit hard to find gems in the ccTLD niche. However I would recommend .CO.UK, .DE and .IN/.CO.IN as safe bets.

.TV & .CC are probably best extensions without any restriction.

I don't know about the others. But in many cases you can get around the restrictions by simply getting a presence in the country controlling the ccTLD. Getting a virtual phone number and local address is not difficult.
