What is eBusinessDomains.com? EbusinessDomains.com is a marketplace for pre-owned and pre-registered domains of the highest quality. We specialize in offering to entrepreneurs, and business entities of all sizes domain names that are highly brandable for both their websites and offline businesses.
Every domain name is unique. The best domains are already registered. This means that there is little chance of finding a decent domain name available for registration for your business.
Over the years we acquired a number of domains for our own developmental purposes. We now realise that we may never be able to develop all of our domains and have now decided to offer some of our premium domains for sale.
-
How is eBusinessDomains.com different? Unlike many other websites offering domains for sale, you will not find any junk or rubbish domains at eBusinessDomains.com. You will not have to sift through hundreds of stupid domains to find one of any reasonable quality.
We pride ourselves in offering top quality premium domains suitable and capable of branding your eBusiness websites and offline entities.
-
Can I register my domain name through eBusinessDomains.com? eBusinessDomains.com is not a domain registrar. We only sell pre-owned domains that are already registered.
To check availability and register new domains we highly recommend Widest.com, the cool domain registrar. Widest.com offers affordable domain registration, web hosting and a whole range of services that will get your business online effortlessly.
-
What is an aftermarket domain name? An aftermarket domain name is a domain name that is already registered and is being offered for sale by the registered owner. The domain names listed at eBuisnessDomains.com are all aftermarket domains.
-
What are premium domains? Premium domains are domains of superior quality. These domains are brandable, easy to remember, and may include dictionary words or keywords suitable for search engine optimisation.
Domain names are like real-world real estate. Domain names are the real estate of the Internet, in other words, virtual real estate.
Think of a house in a slump/ghetto in the downtown region of a city compared to the houses in the lavish uptown residential neighbourhoods. Premium domains are the type of domains that sets you apart from the crowd.
-
Why buy premium domains? A domain name can be a very powerful marketing and branding tool. Having premium domain name can significantly increase sales and/or reduce marketing costs.
Mcgregorsblockmanufacturersofflorida.com is one name that users would really find hard to remember. Blockmakers.com would surely be more brandable and memorable.
-
How can I search for a suitable premium domain? You can search for premium domains at eBusinessDomains.com by simply typing the keywords in the search box.
Domains are listed in their related categories. Most domains are listed in multiple categories where appropriate. This makes it easier for you to find your desired premium domain name by searching our category listings.
You may also browse our showcase listing which features some of our most coveted domain names. We periodically offer domains for sale below their normal market price in the “On Sale” listings, accessible from the main navigation bar.
-
Why do domains say “make an offer” instead of showing prices? Domain prices are always rising. More businesses go online everyday, and there is simply not enough quality domains available. This means that there is very high demand for quality domains, as the amount available is rapidly diminishing.
We have thousands of domain names for sale and we simply cannot update the prices for that many domains as the prices are constantly changing.
-
How can I request the price for a domain name? You can simply fill out the contact form on the domain description page to request a price. We receive numerous requests daily, so we may take a few days to send a reply.
To ensure a faster response, please indicate how much you are prepared to offer for the domain. If your offer is simply too low, we may not take it seriously and may choose not to reply.
If you make an offer and do not receive a reply within 7 days, then it should be interpreted that your offer was deemed too low. Simply send a new offer with a more reasonable and modest amount.
-
Can I park my domains with eBusinessDomains.com? We do not currently offer domain parking services at eBusinessDomains.com. To learn more about domain parking and too see a list of recommended services, please visit our domain parking section on this site (on main navigation bar).

Buying Domains
-
How do I buy a domain through eBusinessDomains.com? You can search for a top quality domain name to brand your eBusiness by either typing the keyword in the search box or browsing our category listings. Once you have identified a domain that you wish to purchase, simply click on the domain name to access the domain description page.
If the price is listed with the domain name, then you can check out and pay for the domain name via paypal with a debit/credit card. If the price is not stated, then you can simply fill out the form and make an offer for the domain name.
All serious offers will be considered. If you do not receive a reply within 7 working days, then it is possible that your offer was too low.
We may reply with a counter-offer or confirm acceptance of your offer. All offers and counter-offers are binding for 7 days. If your offer is accepted, we will then require payment before transferring ownership of the domain name to you.
-
What is the minimum offer for a domain name? If the price is listed with the domain name, the price listed will be buy-it-now price. No offer will be accepted for an amount that is lower than the listed price.
Each domain will have a different price and as such the minimum offer will vary. The minimum offer that will be considered for any domain name not offered in our “On Sale” listing will be US$750.
-
What is a counter-offer? If we believe that the offer that you have made is too low, we may reject your offer and make you a new offer at which we would be willing to sell the domain name. Our counter-offer would only be valid for 7 days.
-
How long is an offer or counter-offer valid for? An offer or counter-offer is only valid for 7 days. Either parties can hold the other responsible for failure to meet their obligations if their offer was accepted.
eBusinessDomains.com reserves the right to reject any offer.
-
How will I know if my offer is accepted? If your offer is accepted, we will communicate acceptance within 7 days via email.
-
Do I get a discount if I buy in bulk? We may give discounts ranging from 5 to 50% if more than one domain is bought. This is totally at our discretion. Discounts applied will be clearly stated and any discount given will be considered on per transaction and per domain basis.
-
What is the agreement between the buyer and the seller? The buyer will pay a one-time cost and the domain will be in their control as the registrant of record for as long as they choose to keep the domain name, provided that they continue to pay a standard annual registrar fee before the expiration date.
When the domain offer has been accepted, the buyer will have 7 days within which to send payment. For domains bought directly and immediately from the site via paypal, it should be expected that the domain name will be transferred to the buyer within 7 days, unless technical or other matters beyond the seller’s control prevent that.
The domain will be pushed (transferred) into an account in the buyers name when payment is received. The buyer may choose to transfer the domain name to a different registrar after they have assumed ownership of the domain name.
It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure that the domain name’s registration is renewed after the purchase. They can choose to register in one-year increments, for up to 10 years. Choosing a longer registration helps lessen the risk of losing a name due to administrative problems or non-payment.
-
What happens after I make the purchase for a domain? As soon as we confirm receipt of payment, we will start the process of transferring ownership of the domain name to the buyer.
-
Why do I need to submit registration information? In order for us to transfer ownership of the domain name, we will need the details that the buyer wishes to register the domain name with. This is the information that will also be seen in the Who-is database when ownership is transferred.
The details required will include the buyer’s name, address, telephone number and email address.
-
What payment methods do you accept for domain names? We currently accept payments via Paypal, Wire Transfer, Escrow and Direct Bank Deposit/BACS (UK customers only). The maximum payment that we accept via paypal is US$4,000. Any amount above this figure will need to be settled via wire transfer, escrow or direct bank deposit. Wire transfers can take between 2-5 working days.
We will not start the domain transfer process until we have confirmed receipt of funds.
-
Can I use an escrow service with my domain purchase? We offer an honest and reliable service. However due to the nature and size of transactions, buyers may choose to add extra security by using an escrow service. We recommend the use of escrow.com, an independent escrow service provider.
An escrow service simply acts as an agent, The buyer will transfer the purchase amount to the escrow service provider, and inform the seller when the funds are received. The seller will then begin the domain transfer process. Once the buyer has confirmed full ownership and control of the domain name, the escrow will then transfer the funds to the seller less the escrow fee.
Because our domains are priced for minimal margins, the buyer will be responsible for paying the escrow fee.
-
Do I get a website with the domain? The buyer will only get the domain name, without content, unless otherwise stated.
-
How is a domain transferred to the buyer after the sale? When we received payment for a domain name, we will create an account at the current registrar with the registration details submitted to us by the buyer.
We will then email the buyer with the login details. The buyer will then have full ownership, control and responsibility for the domain name. The buyer will be able to change name servers, domain forwarding and any other services or features necessary to utilise the domain name.
-
How does the buyer assume control of the domain after a sale? After we transfer the domain name to the buyer’s (newly created or existing) account at the current domain registrar, the buyer will be emailed the account login details.
The buyer will have full control of the domain name once they have logged in. They can point the domain name to their website or servers immediately.
-
How long will the transfer process take? The transfer process can be completed within a day, unless there are exceptional circumstances beyond the seller’s control. The buyer can choose to transfer the domain name to a different registrar only after the domain name is transferred to their (newly created or existing) account at the registrar.
Transferring a domain name to the buyers newly created or existing account at the current registrar saves a lot of time and administrative costs.
-
How do I know when the domain has been transferred? The domain name will be transferred when the Who-is database shows that the buyer now owns the domain name. Most domain registrar has the facility to display Who-is details. You may try Widest.com.
The buyer will have full ownership, control and responsibility of the domain name if they can see the domain listed in their account when they login at the domain registrar.
-
Will I have full control of the domain that I purchase? Once you purchase a domain name from eBusinessDomains.com you will fully owned the domain name. You will have full control and the responsibility to renew the annual registration subscription at the domain registrar at which the domain is hosted.
Failure to renew the domain subscription will result in the domain name expiring and the domain registrar dropping/cancelling the domain name. If this happens, then the domain name will be become available for anyone to register it and assume full ownership. This is absolutely legal.
-
When will the domain registration expire after the transfer? Domain names are registered for a minimum period of 1 year and a maximum of 10 years, starting on the date of registration (not the date it was transferred from previous owner).
It is the responsibility of the buyer to verify the expiry date of the domain registration, and to take the necessary step to renew the domain registration after assuming ownership, control and responsibility for the domain.
-
Can I buy additional years for my domain registration? Once you have assumed full ownership, control and responsibility of the domain name, you may purchase additional years of registration up to a maximum of 10 years.
-
How much will the domain rewal cost? Here is the extended version of the question: “If you buy a premium domain name for say (1k) I am aware that the ownership of that domain is now transferred to the new owner. However, upon renewing the domain for future years, would it cost the normal $10-20 or would have you to pay the PREMIUM price of (1k) per year to keep ownership?”
The Answer: No, it would cost the regular low renewal fee.
When you buy a premium domain name for say $1,000, which is just a one-off premium cost.To renew the domain name each year, you will simply pay the renewal fee that your current domain registrar charges, which is an average of $8.95 for a dot COM domain. Some domain registrars will even give you further discounts if you choose to renew for multiple years.
Look at it this way: It’s like buying a car for $10,000. That’s the upfront cost. You would then pay annual vehicle/road tax of let’s say $150 each year to the government. Here in the UK, if you don’t pay your annual vehicle tax, the Driving and Vehicle Licensing Agency have the legal authority to crush your car.
It’s the same with domain names. If you don’t pay the annual renewal fee to your domain registrar (average $8.95), you will loose the domain name.
