Brand development can be fun, if you know what you are doing. There is a lot of talk about branding these days, but it is always so easy to tell when someone jumps on the bandwagon, without having the slightest clue.

I am hoping to get some time to do some more blogging this year, especially on the topic of branding.

But then, one of the secrets of branding is never to let your competitors know what you are up to. Some people give away too much in the name of blogging for advertising dollars.

We are almost done with rolling out phase one of the development of Aeroplanes.com, and phase two is well underway. A lot of work has been done so far, but when you look at what is to come, it’s like we have not even begun.

We plan to explore to full power of this incredible domain name and brand.

When we started Skull.net, within just a few weeks, we were on to phase 2. We have since successfully executed many phases, and the site is absolutely different to what we had when we first launched. We are also planning even bigger upgrades to Skull.net.

We tested quite a few concepts with Skull.net. It was, and still is our guinea pig. Testing is absolutely important in web development. We did manage to avoid quite a few pitfalls.

The Aeroplanes.com brand is growing daily. We are now in the process of getting our campaigns ready, and should be deploying a few of them shortly.

We will also be rolling a few other brands in the coming weeks. Can’t say too much now, so you just have to stay tuned.

I think if you have a creative edge, or creative personality, then this sort of thing comes easy to you.

Testing the concepts is the way forward like you mention. One man’s bread is another man’s poison…as the saying goes!
