Here is the seventh method of making money online with your domain name or website:

7. Generating an E-mail List
Internet marketers preach the gospel of email marketing all the time. It is their secret weapon, and it is not hard to see why.

Have you ever wondered why e-mail marketers are so persistent in getting into your email inbox? Because it pays!

Email marketing is a numbers game and in this case size does really matter. The bigger your list the more chances of you monetizing it.

Your list will initially be filled with your competitors or spies using free email accounts such as Gmail, Hotmail and Yahoo! Mail. However, as you expand your marketing you will start getting real subscribers.

Generating a large enough list will take some effort but when completed you can use it to market products for advertisers or yourself.

One of the best ways to use your list is to send out newsletters. You can then monetize your newsletters by selling ad space, advertising affiliate links or promoting your own products in each issue.

You will need a mailing list service provider or professional auto-responder service to capture and manage email addresses and your email marketing campaigns.

Don’t forget to adhere to anti-spamming laws.

I will update this post with some mailing list service providers as soon as I can.

That’s it for this method. I will expand of this one in the near future.

The full series will be published in the Making Money Online blog category. So you can check back later for the rest of the series.
