We said it was a blockbuster contest, and we meant it.

We announced recently that we will be launching our Blockbuster Domaining Contest on Wednesday March 4th, and we are very pleased to announce the details.

This contest will be fun, and just about anyone can enter!

We have a whopping $17,250 in prizes to be won, and we expect the pool of prizes to increase! The prize table below shows that at least 62 contestants will win prizes.

Without much ado, here are the details:

Firstly, here are the prizes we have on offer to date. The prizes are all superb, and we do not value any above the other. The order of the prizes is random.

PRIZES

 HOW THE CONTEST WORKS
The contest will run from March 4th to midnight GMT on April 6th.

The contest is based on a points system, where contestants will carry out some basic tasks to earn points. The more points a contestant have, the more chances they have of winning, where 1 point equals 1 chance.

The winners of the prizes will be selected by a random draw. We will aim to announce the winners on Friday 10th April.

We will only have one prize per person. This will help us to have as many winners as possible.

Prize sponsors are not eligible to enter.

CONTEST TASKS AND ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

***Mandatory Tasks***

Task One
Join our Domain Forum and make at least 1 post (Click here to join for free)
This step is required for entry.

Also: (Added 11-Mar-09, previous entries will qualify)
10 point for each post
10 points for each thread started
$25 for first person to make 100 posts
$50 for person with most post at end of contest (minimum 100 post required)
Please note: Nonsensical or spam post will not earn you points.

Task Two
Subscribe to our Newsletter
NB: You must confirm your subscription. Once you are successfully subscribed, use the password sent in your confirmation email to login to your control panel, and enter your forum username in the field provided (important).
Points: 10

Task Three
If you carried out task #2, get another 15 points by getting your account validated. Simply follow the steps in your control panel.
Points: 15

Task Four
Write a blog post about this contest, linking to this post.
Send us the link to your blog post and your forum username by contact us here, or simply leave the details as a comment below.
Points: 10

Attention: remember to put your forum ID in the tweet. (We will search twitter for the tweets, and your forum ID will identify you as the contestant).

***Special Notes:***
As we promised at the launch of our Forum on February 27th, ALL existing forum members will be automatically entered into the contest.

Contestants can carry out tasks #4 and #5 as often as they wish to earn extra points.

Sponsors will be responsible for distributing their prizes to respective winners.

The domain names to be won will be announced towards the end of the contest.
