We will not be renewing a few domains as their annual renewals become due over the next few months.

We have been busy spring-cleaning our domain portfolio over the past few months, and it will take a few more months to have the cleaner and meaner portfolio that we desire to work with.

There is nothing wrong with these domains as such. It is more of an internal policy change. We want to focus on certain types of domains, rather than keeping a wide-ranging portfolio. These are very excellent domain names, and we had even received offers for some of them in the past, when we were not actively selling domains.

Most of the domains that have been dropped so far have been registered or were backordered before they expired. So far we have dropped almost 2,000 domains in the dot COM, CC, BIZ, US, NET, CO.UK, WS, INFO, EU AND ORG extensions.

As they say, one man’s trash is another man’s treasure. Two of the domains that we had sidelined for the drop were BankBazaar.com and Flyports.com. Surprisingly and luckily, we manage to sell these domains before they expired. These very said domains are now branding two great end-user websites.

We will be offering these expiring domains to our newsletter subscribers for as low as $50 per domain each and every Monday. Domains that are not sold will be submitted to ExpiringDomains.com within a month of the renewal date.
